What we'll do
The services you book — such as preparing and lodging income tax returns or BAS, bookkeeping, and related advice. The exact scope is confirmed with you at your appointment; anything outside that scope is agreed separately before work begins.
Our commitments to you
We act lawfully, honestly and in your best interests. We provide our services competently and on time, take reasonable care to apply the tax law correctly to your circumstances, and advise you of your relevant rights and obligations under the taxation laws. Your information stays confidential — we don't disclose it to anyone without your permission unless the law requires us to.
Your commitments to us
Provide complete and accurate information in good time, and keep the records that substantiate your claims (generally five years). Australia's tax system is self-assessment: you remain responsible for the information in your returns, and penalties can apply for errors or omissions. We rely on what you provide and do not audit it.
Fees
Fees are discussed and agreed with you before work begins, based on the services provided. Any arrangement involving a tax refund (for example, fees deducted from a refund) happens only with your consent.
Privacy & liability
Your personal information (including your TFN) is handled in line with the Privacy Act and used only to provide our services. Liability is limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
Term
These terms cover the service you're booking and continue for ongoing work until varied or ended in writing by either of us. A copy of this letter is available anytime on request.

Please bring photo ID (driver licence or passport) to your first appointment — we're required to verify who you are.
