Deb Walker Accounting provides accounting, taxation, and bookkeeping services to individuals and small to medium businesses. All services are provided in accordance with the requirements of CPA Australia, the Tax Practitioners Board, and relevant Australian legislation.

3. Professional Standards

As a CPA practice, Deb Walker Accounting is bound by the APES 110 Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, which includes the fundamental principles of integrity, objectivity, professional competence, confidentiality, and professional behaviour. We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by CPA Australia.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees are based on the complexity and time required to complete the work. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed.

5. Client Responsibilities

To enable us to provide our services effectively, clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, complete, and timely information
• Retaining copies of all records and documents provided to us
• Informing us of any changes to their circumstances that may affect our services
• Meeting agreed deadlines for the provision of information

6. Confidentiality

All client information is kept strictly confidential in accordance with CPA Australia's professional standards and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Information will not be disclosed to third parties without the client's prior written consent, except where required by law or professional duty.

7. Limitation of Liability

Deb Walker Accounting will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing services. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss arising from the provision of false, misleading, or incomplete information by the client, or from changes in legislation or regulatory requirements made after advice has been given.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly at deb@debwalkeraccounting.com.au. We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and fairly. If a matter cannot be resolved directly, you may contact CPA Australia or the Tax Practitioners Board.
